D'Iberville Youth Soccer Organization News

The 2008 U-16 Lady Warriors Recreational team placed 2nd place in the MSA Southern
District Tournament in Gulfport, MS and went on to play in the 2008 MSA
Kohls Cup Tournament in Meridian, MS.

The D'Iberville Youth Soccer Program was hit hard in August 2005 by Hurricane
Katrina. The league still hasn't fully recovered from the storm. The league lost most of
it's equipment and some of the fields are still being used in the relief effort. We
appreciate all who have given so generously to help rebuild D"Iberville Soccer. If

Kidsafe

Anyone wishing to be involved with coaching, referees or other volunteers must complete the kidsafe process. DYSO is committed to providing a fun and safe atmosphere for our children to play the game.

Registration FAQs
When will practices be?
Practice times will be up to the individual coach. DYSO requires that they practice no more than twice a week for u12 and below.
When will practices begin?
Practices will start the first week of November.
When will the season start and when will games be?
The season will start on the 1st Saturday of December and we will play on saturday's only except for any rain out games.

Thank you to the Penfield Rangers
In June of this year the Penfield Rangers Soccer Club in Penfield NY held a benefit tournament. Their tournament helped raise funds to help our club with our rebuilding efforts. We wish to thank all of their players, parents and sponsors for their generous donation!

Hurricane Katrina Destroys Fields and equipment
Hurricane Katrina has destroyed all of our fields and equipment. We are actively seeking donations to acquire new field space and equipment. No donation is too small or too large. Help be a part of the rebirth of D'Iberville Soccer.

Recent sucess stories
Congratulations go out to the following 3 teams that went to the state finals for 2006 this is a record amount of teams for our league.
U19 coed team, U14 girls (placed 4th in district play), u12 boys (placed 2nd out of 32 teams in district play). Although success was not to be had at the state level given the hardship we have been through this season congratulations to all.
The U12 Warriors Div 2 team placed 2nd place in the St Charles Plantation Cup in Paradis, LA. This is a great feat for our team as we beat several top teams from Louisiana.
Congratulations to ALL!!!
